More Traffic More Money!
Traffic means money in the online game, simple. At this point in my online capital game I would consider myself bankrupt. My main problem is focus. Like I have stated to many of you that I “digitally conversate” (email) with on the regular, “I think I have bitten off more than I can chew.” Right now I have 10 active web properties that I’m developing, pretty much solo. My partner in hustle Donnie Bo Official is helping me out but, he has his hands full with his A&R and Music supervision gig. I have decided to narrow down my focus to only five web properties at a time and focus on building traffic, page rank, link building, and consistent posts on these 5 sites.

Set Your Goal.
My goal is to post one new post a day on each site. My traffic goal is to get each web property up to 500 unique visitors a month. Once the traffic is steady at 500 or above on those five site, then I will step it up and add the next 5 properties and get them up to 500 steady unique visitors a month while still maintaining the first 5 and so on, and so on. This is my goal. And I posted this “Free tools and techniques” post because I think you too can use the same free tools and techniques to increase your traffic to whatever level you want.

Do It Yourself.
There are millions of “get traffic quick” schemes on the net, some of them work and some of them don’t. If you are like me and in need of a traffic makeover and don’t have money to pay a so called “SEO expert” But, you have the time and hustle to do it yourself, there are some basic fundamental techniques that can build traffic over a period of time.

Keep It Simple and Cheap.
Here are a few of the basics that wont cost you any money, Just a little time and hustle.
Here in part 1. of “Free tools and techniques to increase web traffic”, I will intro you to the basic tools to measure and monitor your site traffic for free.

I’m going to keep it pretty simple. Like I said I’m not a SEO (search engine optimization) expert, as a matter of fact 9 months ago I didn’t even know what it meant. But I found Google Analytics and Google web master tools to be the easiest to use and understand. People try and hate on google but, right now they got the game on lock. All of the products and services integrate and work together seamlessly, simple.

Google Webmaster Tools
These web based application provides you with a free and easy way to make your site more Google-friendly. You can see how Google’s view of your site, and diagnose problems. Using Googles Webmaster Tools will give you a “Reality Check” and let you know how your site stacks up in the real world. The numbers don’t lie.

Google Analytics
Analytics is the Sh*%T! Analytics is another Google web based application that basically tells you everything you need to know about your web property or properties. Just create an account and place the Java Script in the index page or pages and let the magic happen. A few hours after you place the script on your site you will get all the data that your nerdy heart desires. This can be a wake up call for some of you who thinks everybody knows your site and you are getting mad traffic, Not! You can bust all your lying ass peeps in Chi-town who lie and say they peep out your site everyday. Now you can check your Analytics Geo targeting demographic report to see how many viewers from Chi-town or anywhere else in the world actually visited your site. Analytics is very in-depth with the info it provides you on your website, traffic sources, viewed content, keywords used to get to your site etc…

Don’t get me wrong there are a gang of other web analyzers and tools out there but, I’m just keeping it simple.
